Who Are We?
Facilitators

Eddie Loehr
Eddie Loehr facilitates men’s groups that help men build real friendship, self-awareness, courage, and connection. His focus is creating grounded, welcoming spaces where men can show up honestly, be supported, and offer their own gifts and wisdom to others. His personal sweet spot is music — enjoying, singing, tinkering on his guitar, or taking in a good show—and he likes getting out on hikes in the Boulder foothills on warm days.
Board of Advisors
Deeper Roots is guided by a Board of Advisors—men who help keep our circles practical, grounded, and genuinely welcoming.

Karl Buechler
Karl Buechler is a married dad to a young son and grew up in Ohio. He likes hockey, building things, and trying out ideas that sometimes turn into small ventures. Karl’s calm, straightforward way of talking about life, stress, and family is part of what he offers to the Board and to the men who come through the group.

Ryon Downs
Ryon Downs brings a craftsman’s eye—patience, precision, and care—and takes real pride in doing meticulous work and making what’s in front of him look its best. He’s married and a new dad, and most days he’d rather be outside—on a trail, near water, or just walking in the neighborhood. Ryon shows up as a steady presence on the Board, interested in how ordinary men can slow down a bit, tell the truth, and feel more at home in their own lives.

Paul Madden
Paul Madden enjoys traveling and seeing how other people live and think. At home, he and his wife share the simple rhythms of caring for their cat and staying connected with friends. Paul brings a thoughtful, low‑key curiosity to the Board, asking honest questions about how men can live with more integrity and ease without having everything “figured out.”

Craig Wright
Craig Wright is originally from Alaska. He’s a loving dad to three kids and spends a lot of his free time on the ice playing hockey or out on his dirt bike. Craig cares about practical, everyday questions men face in life and family, and he brings that down‑to‑earth perspective to the Board of Advisors.
